Effect Rules

• When instructed to "Repeat this Power", do you have to obey the range/target land restrictions?
  Only if it doesn't tell you where to Repeat it. If a Repeat specifies where to use it, you obey those instructions instead of the usual Range and Target restrictions (p. 19) even if the land would normally be untargetable. In the rare case that the origin land matters when instructed to Repeat a Power in a specific land, it's the same origin land as the original power use.

  For example, The Land Thrashes in Furious Pain could be Repeated on an adjacent land without Blight.

Range and Targeting

• When choosing Beasts to move with Flocking Red-Talons, which land do you measure Range from?
  The target land. All text in land-targeting Powers is resolved in relation to the target land unless otherwise specified.

• When a special rule grants a Range boost specifically for targeting lands with specific traits/contents, like Shadows of the Dahan, does that apply to Range arrows within a Power's text?
  No, that bonus is specifically for choosing the target of a land-targeting Power.

  Use the Power as though the number in the "Range" box were increased or completely ignored (depending on the Range boost in question) and the extra target requirement were included in the "Target Land" box. In the case of Shadows of the Dahan, this means ignoring the Range number entirely (but not anything else in the "Range" box!) and adding "Dahan" to whatever else is already in the "Target Land" box.

  This differs from general-purpose Range boosts, which apply to all Range arrows.

  Though early printings of Sky Stretches to Shore use the word "targeting," the text of that Power has been revised to work like other Range-boosing Powers and is not subject to this restriction.

Spirits and Innate Powers

• If Many Minds Moves as One gathers multiple Sacred Sites into one land with an action, do they still count as separate Beasts for the rest of that action?
  Yes, while Many Minds can only use A Joining of Swarms and Flocks on one pair of Presence in each of its Sacred Sites (Jagged Earth, page 29), those Presence-pairs-as-Beasts remain Beasts for the rest of the action even if they move to new lands. In particular, Many Minds can use The Teeming Host Arrives to gather Presence pairs from three different lands with the middle threshold and then Push each of those Presence pairs with the final threshold.

  This doesn't let Many Minds gather multiple pairs of Presence from the same land with a single Gather instruction, so The Teeming Host Arrives can't gather more than two Presence from one land.
