Frequently Asked Questions
Aspects
When the Intensify Aspect spends a Moon Marker when replacing a piece of type A with a piece of type B (e.g., replacing 1 Explorer with 1 Dahan with Call of the Dahan Ways), how many piece of type B will there be?
One per piece of type A that was replaced. So in this case, if there were two Explorers present, there would then be two Dahan.

Effect Rules
When instructed to "Repeat this Power", do you have to obey the range/target land restrictions?
Only if it doesn't tell you where to Repeat it. If a Repeat specifies where to use it, you obey those instructions instead of the usual Range and Target restrictions
(p. 19)
even if the land would normally be untargetable
. In the rare case that the origin land matters when instructed to Repeat a Power in a specific land, it's the same origin land as the original power use.
For example,
The Land Thrashes in Furious Pain
could be Repeated on an adjacent land without Blight.

General Play
If you damage an invader and then replace it with another invader, will the new invader enter the game damaged?
Yes.
(Rulebook p. 18)
When you replace a piece with another piece, the new piece comes in with whatever damage the original piece had.
For example, if you deal 2 damage to a city and then replace it with a town, that town will be destroyed immediately.
If you replace a damaged piece with two or more pieces
(as when Dissolve the Bonds of Kinship replaces a City with two Explorers)
, the damage (and Strife tokens, if applicable) get divided between the new pieces as you choose.
