Aspects

• What happens when the Mentor Aspect uses Entwined Power on another Spirit? How about if another Spirit targets Mentor?
  If Mentor targets another Spirit, then that Spirit gains a Power Card normally (drawing four and picking one) and Mentor gains two of the remaining three Power Cards. If another Spirit targets Mentor, then Mentor draws two Power Cards (4-2), gains two (1+1), and the other Spirit has no cards left to gain from.

• How many Minor Powers does the Nourishing Aspect gain if Vital Strength of the Earth gains multiple Major Powers at once (e.g., from Entwined Power in solo)?
  Just one. As a triggered action, Flourish with Nature's Strength can only gain 1 Minor Power per action, no matter how many Major Powers are gained during that action.

• When the Mentor Aspect is the target of Unlock the Gates of Deepest Power, what happens?
  Shifting Memory of Ages draws two Major Powers, gains them both, and forgets nothing. If they meet the threshold requirements, they can play one of the new Power Cards – since the identity of "the Major Power" is ambiguous, Shifting Memory of Ages chooses which one is being referred to.

  It doesn't matter who played the Power, just that Shifting Memory of Ages with the Mentor Aspect is the target.

• When the Nourishing Aspect gains an extra Minor Power because it gained a Major Power, can it Forget the new Minor Power?
  No. Completely resolve the action that gained the Major Power, including Forgetting, before gaining the Minor Power.

General Play

• When you gain a new Major Power, which Power Cards can you forget?
  You can Forget any power card: in your hand, in your discard, or in play. You can even Forget the Major Power you just gained (sidebar, p. 18).

Power Cards

• If you gain a Major Power by non-standard means or from a place other than the Major Power deck, do you have to Forget a card? How about the "gifting" of Entwined Power's threshold or "taking" a Major Power?
  "Gifting" is a transfer and does not require Forgetting, and "taking" explicitly doesn't require Forgetting. But for any Gain of a Major Power, you must Forget unless the effect specifically exempts you.

  As usual, you may Forget the Major Power you just gained, if you'd prefer that to losing any of your other Power Cards.

Scenarios

• When Fractured Days Splits the Sky plays Destiny Unfolds and gains a card from their Destiny, do they also put a card in Days that Never Were?
  Yes, and they can usually put any card they could have picked from their Destiny into Days that Never Were; they don't have to pick a Power Card of the same type as the one they gained unless the gain effect had a restriction.

• When the Mentor Aspect plays in the Destiny Unfolds scenario, do they gain two cards from its Destiny when they gain a Power Card?
  Yes, if there are at least two cards left. In the unlikely case that there's exactly one card left, they just gain that one.

  They are free to mix and match between Majors and Minors, though gaining two Majors at once has the benefit that they need to Forget a Power Card fewer times over the course of the game.

• How does Entwined Power work in Destiny Unfolds?
  If Target Spirit still has cards in their Destiny, they gain one of them and you gain another one if any remain. (If there was only one card in their Destiny, you won't get a card.)

  If their Destiny was already empty before resolving Entwined Power, resolve it like normal.

  You don't gain a card from your own Destiny, since “the Power Cards they did not keep” is their Destiny and not one of the decks.

• In Destiny Unfolds, if you only have Major Powers in your Destiny, can you gain Minor Powers normally from the deck? (Or vice versa)
  Generally no. Rather than choosing a deck to gain from, you choose a single Power in your Destiny to gain. If your Destiny only has Major Powers, you must gain a Major Power.

  However, if the source of the Power Card forces you to gain a Minor Power (e.g., Gift of Power) and you have none in your Destiny, gain one normally from the Minor Power Deck (and similarly for Major Powers).

Spirit Phase

• Can I wait for the results of another Spirit's Growth before making my own Growth choice? E.g., see if they draw into a Power Card which handles a bad situation before making my own choices?
  Yes.

  The only rules constraints are that each individual Spirit must Grow / Gain Energy / Play Power Cards in that order, and that all Spirits must complete the Spirit Phase before anyone starts resolving Fast Powers. [p. 8] Other than that, players play simultaneously and may confer as they wish, so for instance, one Spirit could plan out their whole turn before another decides which Growth they're taking, or two Spirits gaining Power Cards could base their decisions on what to keep based on each others' draws. How lenient you are about individual Spirits rewinding - eg, going back to choose a different Growth option - is ultimately a playgroup decision, but most people seem to be fine with it so long as you're not rewinding "gain a Power Card".

  In some cases outside of the core game, a Spirit's Growth may even change the board - waiting for this is also fine. (E.g., Keeper of the Forbidden Wilds could push Dahan by making a Sacred Site, changing what lands Thunderspeaker could add Presence to.)

  Not unless explicitly instructed.
