Immense Aspect (Lightning's Swift Strike)
Frequently Asked Questions
Aspects
When the Immense Aspect would grant an extra Element at the end of the Spirit Phase, do its Plays count as 1 Play or half a Play?
1 Play. Immense has just as many Plays as Lightning's Swift Strike normally does; it just has to spend twice as many of them to play a card at the end of the Spirit Phase.
The extra Element lets Immense still get a benefit from advancing to having an odd number of plays, despite the 3rd and 5th plays not actually allowing Immense to play any more Power Cards.

Scenarios
When playing a Power Card face-down in the Ward the Shores scenario, is the card still a Major/Minor/Unique Power Card for the purpose of abilities that care (e.g., the Immense Aspect)?
No, a Power Card that's played face-down loses its prior type.
To cover specific cases:
The Immense Aspect does not gain 2 Elements for playing a Major Power face-down.
The Intensify Aspect can't spend an Air Marker to use a face-down Minor Power during the Fast Phase.
During the Ethereal Conjunction Event, all face-down Power Cards count as non-Major Power Cards, and can be used by that Event to add a Warding Pattern.

Spirits and Innate Powers
Does Grinning Trickster's rightmost Growth Option just use the Card Plays revealed on the Presence Track, or does it include modifiers (e.g., "Back Against the Wall," or Invader benefit 4 in Powers Long Forgotten)?
The printed number on the Plays track. In general, effects that scale via the Energy/Plays on Presence tracks use the printed numbers rather than the amount of Energy or Plays actually usable during a given Spirit Phase, whether or not they explicitly say so.
