Can Shroud of Silent Mist use "Mists Shift and Flow" to gather Presence from the Locus Aspect at the Locus Incarna? Can it use that Presence for targeting? How about if it gathers the Incarna itself?
Like with "Entwined Power", Shroud of Silent Mist
can gather any Presence that it can use for targeting, even if that Presence is not its own. However, that Presence must still be at the Incarna in order to help satisfy targeting requirements. That means:
- If Shroud gathers a non-Incarna Locus Presence away from the Incarna, that Presence can no longer be used for targeting (though any other Presence at the Locus Incarna still can be).
- If Shroud gathers the Locus Incarna, it can be used for targeting in its new land, since it's always in the same land as itself. Additionally, any other Locus Presence in the new land can be used for targeting, since that Presence is now at the Incarna. (This can be used to meet Sacred Site origin requirements.)
- While Repeating a Power with the Locus Aspect's "Strength of the Waking Island" Innate Power, Shroud can target a land adjacent to the Locus Incarna by gathering the Incarna into the that land during targeting.
