Can Breath of Darkness Down Your Spine choose Strife as one of the pieces escaping the Endless Dark?

No, because Strife can't move independently of the Invader it's attached to. If you must choose two pieces to let escape, they must both be non-Strife pieces.
Strife tokens will escape with the Invader they are attached to, but do not count towards the number of pieces escaping.
