When an effect moves Invaders "on each board," is the chosen board the origin or the destination for those pieces?

Whichever it would be if you targeted a land on that board with that effect. So, for example, Gather pieces into a land on that board (from that board or a different board) or Push pieces from a land on that board (to that board or a different board). [Jagged Earth, p. 12]
