Crapper
Rules: Five Card Double-Draw, but only flushes count. If no one has a five-card flush, best four-card flush wins, going down to three or two-card if needed.
Analysis: A popular and strange game. Probably the most "mechanical" game we play. It's often tempting to go with the smaller but higher flush, but it is always best to go with the longer one. We have endless arguments about whether it is ever smart to draw four to the Ace.

Variants
Straight Flush:
Crapper crossed with
Breeder. The strongest flush splits with the strongest straight,
but if anyone gets a real five-card straight flush, that wins over other flushes and straights.
Upcycling: Broadly in the same family as
Crapper, but played seven stud. Only flushes and straights count. The best five card flush beats the best five card straight beats the best four card flush, and so on. On your bet (on up card deals) if you have a showing pair you may trade one of them for a new up card. If you have trips, you may do this again. You may reveal a down card to do this; the replacement card is up.
