Cabaches

Ingredients

1 Cabbage Heads (cut in wedges, core removed)
2 cup Leeks (chopped white part)
1 cup Onion (chopped)
6 cup Beef Broth (or bouillon)
1/4 tsp Cinnamon (ground)
1/4 tsp Cardamom
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/8 tsp Cloves (ground)
1/8 tsp Coriander (ground)
1 tsp Sugar
1 pinch Saffron (good pinch)

Steps

  • Simmer cabbage, leeks and onion in the broth and spices.

Notes

In hopes this equals "poudre douce"
