True Solo and "Different Player" effects

Name
True Solo and "Different Player" effects
Details
Some cards will have effects that are supposed to be resolved by different players. In true solo mode, all effects are taken by the solo mage. Later printings of the rulebook explicitly clarify this is part of the "you are your own ally" rule.
"In true solo play, you play as only one mage. When playing true solo, you are your own ally. For example, if a card gives a charge to an ally, you instead gain that charge yourself. If an effect affects you and another player, you resolve that effect twice." (Emphasis mine)
Example: While playing true solo, Holadran's Blood Magic effect is activated (Two different players each suffer 1 damage.). The solo mage suffers 1 damage, then suffers 1 damage again.
