Recipe
Everyone does this differently, but this is the recipe I've evolved:
The day before, combine:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 tsp Chia seeds
- About 5 oz milk (just a little more than 1/2 cup)
- 1 Tbl yogurt
- 1-2 tsp maple syrup
Stir together in a Ball jar or suchlike, and refrigerate.
Each morning (this makes 3-4 days' worth):
- Take 1/3 of the oats in a small bowl.
- Add about 1 Tbl Grape Nuts, to soak up any extra liquid and give it a bit of crunch.
- Break 4 pecans into quarters (or so) and add.
- Add a handful of berries.
Low-effort, quick each morning, and very tasty!
