Mexican Sweat: Deal seven cards to each player -- DO NOT LOOK AT YOUR CARDS! Show the top remaining card. The first player flips cards, one at a time, until he has a better hand than that, and then leads a round of betting. Continue to go around, with each player successively either beating the previous hand or folding, and then betting.

Nowadays, we often play a variant of Mexican Sweat at the end of the night. Everybody "dollars up", rounding what they have to the nearest dollar; all spare change gets tossed into the pot, which should also wind up a round dollar number. Then we play a fast no-betting round of Mexican Sweat to see who gets the pot.

That is: deal six cards face-down to each player. Don't look at your cards. Flip the top card of the deck, and play Mexican Sweat as usual. However, in the final showdown, your lowest rank is wild for you only, similar to Secret Squirrel.
