AKA Early Cribbage

The 16th and 17th-century ancestors of modern Cribbage. Noddy was Elizabethan, and didn't yet have a crib. Early Cribbage was much like the modern game, but smaller.

Variants

Costly Colors -- A somewhat obscure variant of the Noddy family, which seems to have started in the 17th century.
Cribbage -- A popular modern card game, whose roots can be found in late-period games.
