AKA Morris Games

One of the most common games in history; not written down as much as one might wish, but boards appear in a wide variety of cultures. Most commonly known as Nine Men's Morris, but that's actually just one of a family.

Variants

Nine Men's Morris -- The best-known of the Merels games.
Three Men's Morris -- The smallest game in the Merels family, sort of a more-interesting version of Tic-Tac-Toe.
