Company Conscience

This should be the company's strident liberal -- probably someone from the old days before the company began taking government money, who has appointed hirself as the conscience of the firm. The CEO played along with it, partly because they were a good worker and partly because sie was sometimes right: while he was a Tea Partier (to this person's despair), he could often be swayed by a good argument, and rather enjoyed playing this person against Company Conservative when he felt like he needed a balanced view of something.
This person has been deeply disturbed by Project Sureshot from the beginning, and was likely talking with Seamus about it. Sie probably has a better idea of why Seamus did what he did than anyone else, and is deeply torn about it, unsure about how much to let the authorities in on, and painfully conscious that saying anything is likely breaking hir employment contract and risking decades of pension.
