There is no discard option for the nemesis power card Pulverizing Ray (Power 1: Gravehold suffers 18 damage. The players may collectively discard up to 6 gems. For each gem discarded this way, prevent 3 of that damage.). During the nemesis turn when the final power token is removed from Pulverizing Ray and the card is resolved, players may collectively discard up to 6 gems to mitigate the Gravehold damage.
Note: The wording on Pulverizing Ray was altered for AE 2nd Edition, but the intent remains the same.
