Chipotle Salad Dressing

1/2 cup nonfat greek yogurt

1 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp granulated toasted onion powder

1 tsp lemon juice

1/4 tsp salt

several serious shakes of chipotle Cholula

1 Tbl or so of water
Recipe
Mix all ingredients. Maybe add a little more water if needed, to correct the texture.
Notes
Ridiculously easy (moreso than a conventional vinaigrette), and quite healthy: maybe 20 calories per serving, and no fat.
Closely adapted from the linked webpage, with a few tweaks. We found that using chipotle powder resulted in a somewhat harsh flavor and a slightly gritty texture; Cholula is pretty much ideal. I don't routinely have Dill in the house, and don't care, so we omit it.
Lots of variations to try:
- Italian flavors -- slightly less garlic, classic herbs
- Indian -- toss in the curry or garam masala
- Mexican -- lime juice instead of lemon, and a spoonful of cilantro
- What would happen with a bit of truffle oil? Would that work?
