Wish list and feedback

Here is the feedback that I collected during setup/tear down days at pennsic:

Feedback

2016
  • there was lots of confusion about the camp layout for peace week
  • check list of what comes out of the trailer and what stays in the trailer
  • perogies are inconsistent to cook
  • improve placement of tents vs when people arrive (don't put people who arrive early in front)
  • put lantern in pantry tent
  • having the pantry tent off of the road is good
  • clear job descriptions and responsibilities posted/available at pennsic (cooler/ice job: does this include dumping the water?)
  • job for propane checking and refiling, only needed to be done once during the week
  • canvas for social tent for peace week
  • have drinks ready at the beginning of setup day (gatorade and water)
  • have camp lunch start on setup day
  • we should have a pennsic-only-people lochleven SQUARE meeting in june/july to plan for pennsic
  • there were gaps in the assignments of chores
  • we didn't use the black boards very much and it would have been useful. battles, order meetings, supper,
  • marks ALL of the coolers, especially the fighter lunch cooler
  • encourage the fighters to make 2 sandwiches every other day the night before battle
  • more pickles for fighters
2017
  • add a "remove from trailer first week" field to items in querki
  • there was lots of confusion about the setup day breakfast and lunch not being part of the meal plan (but this was resolved during the pennsic household meeting)
  • Jensen's fighter lunch idea was really good
    • Xavier: I think this would be nice to have a non-assigned/volunteer chore for making the fighter lunches. This is just using the chore framework to make it easier to organize fighters who want to help make lunches happen
2018
  • keep a list of the trailer items at the Lochleven camp while I am at the trailer
  • Make sure that household members other than the quartermaster know how to access the inventory and have permissions to do so
  • before the winter meeting:
    • send the list of wishlist projects to the household mailing list
    • send the list of wish list items to the treasurer s othat purchases can be approved and assigned

2016
  • 1 foot gravity hooks for lanterns and candles around the outside edge of the common tents
  • wall to split the shower and add a second shower
  • more poles that match the common tent so that we can use it for the kitchen separating Lochleven from Black Talon (about 4)
  • Second hand washing station for the tree line
  • shower beer holder/cup holder
  • have someone who is arriving friday afternoon pickup rotisserie chicken on friday before setup for supper
2017
  • D cell battery Tester
  • replace 3 coolers
  • trailer stairs
  • axel grease for the carts
  • WD40 for the trailer lock
  • DONE 2019 bin for car port pipes (3.5' long x 1.5' wide x 1' high )
  • 4 stakes bags for the common tents
  • Marker for the trailer
2018
  • clock for the kitchen (9/30/18 Ginny has bought this, will add to inventory once it arrives)
  • knife sharpener (stone?)
  • lost and found bin (with sign)
  • Clockwork asked to be reminded about broken table parts
  • DONE 2019 Kitchen car port box needs to be replaced
  • DONE 2019 at least 3 dozen new tent ropes (especially needed for the pantry tent)
2019:
  • Labels for item spaces in the trailer for easier packing
  • ropes or bungees with cleats installed in the walls for the poles in the trailer to keep them upright while packing
  • one of the common tent boxes is broken and so the fighter then parts are in the spare box
2022:
  • solar charger and battery (that Corwin had) was very much enjoyed by the group
