Notes
Original serves 6, adaptation serves 2
We tried Molson's Golden and St. Pauli Girl Dark. Both were very good - the lighter drink was liked better by people who don't like beer. The dark was richer, and people would tend to drink less.
Maybe a tiny bit of nutmeg on each serving?
With a bitter beer, use 4T or so of sugar. You probably want a little more sugar with a dark beverage than with a light. Sweetness and seasoning can vary slightly to your taste
Try pouring the beer into a pot, beat in the egg, and then let froth subside while you find the rest of the ingredients.
Cleanup isn't too bad.
This is very, very good. It is creamy, but not over-rich. definitely a drink, not a food. Almost impossible to ruin. Fast, easy, I want more!
