Qualms about Project Sureshot

Dear Mr. Cameron,
I write to you with a utmost respect, and not any intended insult. I am grateful to you for the job you have given to me and to my friends here at Decameron, and the work is interesting. But I have become concerned about the long-term implications of the project. As you surely know, the American constitution permits such openness to citizen possession of weapons that I must doubt that the Sureshot will remain confined to military use. Were it to fall into the hands of gangs or other such unsavory individuals, surely chaos would result.
I hope you will consider this, and join with me in wondering whether this is an appropriate use of the company's resources.
