Inviting Team Members

While some LARPs are written by a single person, many are collaborative efforts. Querki is specifically designed for collaboration -- you just have to invite your team members to join you.
For now, only the Owner of the Space (the person who created it) can invite people to join. The Owner should go to the Actions menu in the bar at the top, and select "Sharing" from that menu.
On the Sharing Page, you can write some invitation text, and give the email addresses of your teammates.
Below the box where you say who you are sharing with, it says "These people should be invited as Basic Member", which means they can read but not much else. Click on "Basic Member", and change it to one of:
  • "Commentator" -- basically, a kibitzer. They'll be able to participate in Conversations, but not change the real content of the Space.
  • "Editor" -- usually what you want: they'll be able to create and edit all the content.
  • "Manager" -- basically a co-Owner. For now, Managers have exactly the same power as Editors, but eventually they will be able to do things like invite others into the Space and muck with the real power features.
Press the "Invite Members" button, and Querki will send email to each of those people, with your invitation text and a link. From that link, they can join Querki and become collaborators in the game writing.
Important: Querki has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to spam. You should make sure that your invitees know this is coming, and want to be involved. Any sort of email abuse is subject to having your account and Spaces deleted. Just don't go there.
You can later come back to the Sharing page to invite more people in, or to change the permissions for the people who have already joined.
