Standard header buttons are blurry

Summary: The small buttons with the green gradient wind up a bit washed-out, so it's hard to understand them.
Observed by Suzanne, but I'd sort of been noticing this myself. Decided to take her report of it as a problem as an excuse to finally deal with it.
Making those buttons a notch larger, and switching to the "default" (whitish) background instead of the green. Still has a gradient for now, but we might yet decide to eliminate that in favor of a flat white.
