Ratings Stars are frequently failing to display

Summary: Not sure what's going on, but in my dev "Simple Space to Convert", if I look at "I'm an Instance!" and then refresh (using the Querki refresh button), the stars often don't show.
This is very inconsistent, but seems to get worse with further refreshes.
It goes away if I actually reload the page entirely.
I'm only noticing this post-conversion, but I suspect the bug was already there before that.
