If you add an illegal character to the Link Name of a Publishable Thing, buttons like "Publish" and "Save as Minor Changes" don't close the Thing.

I'm surprised that it's even possible to have illegal characters in Link Names -- that may be the underlying more-serious bug. (And is why this is marked Critical, at least initially.)
