Summary: The exact way we specify the format this isn't obvious. Function? Object? Both?
We definitely need to be able to include the OID of a Thing.
We almost certainly need to be able to filter exactly what Things get exported -- for example, we should be able to export exactly the Jobs that have been published since the last time we exported, as an Array.
Possible design: if a Property is a Function, we evaluate that Function, and put in the results.
