Going to certain pages when Space is not yet loaded fails

Summary: Not sure what's going on, but this shows up in my new Sandbox. It always recovers, but it's worrying.
Current recipe, in the Sandbox Space:
  • Navigate to .7w4g80v, which is an instance of Testing .7w4g7xi. Leave the browser sitting on that page.
  • Let everything time out.
  • Without doing anything else, click on the Model link pointing to Testing .7w4g7xi.
  • Instead of actually getting the Model, you get a Tag page with the taggified version of that name.
  • If you then refresh, all is fine.
Somehow, it's acting as if the Space isn't fully loaded yet.
Does this only happen if the Name doesn't quite match the Link Name, as in this case?
