Clicking on a thumbnail without a target doesn't work?

Summary: On the front page of the Cross-Stitch Gallery, if I click on the thumbnail for a Project, nothing happens. It should pop up a modal display of the photo. Did that not get implemented yet?
It's implemented, but confirmed that it doesn't work as expected.
