Choosing a single Link from a large list is onerous

(Bug, Investigate , Priority: Critical, Test Status: No automated tests yet , Reported By Bad Link: Thing 3y284oe not found, )
Summary: The current drop-down works okay for lists of six options, but sucks for a hundred.
Not sure precisely what the best solution is. We could simply introduce a meta-Property that says to use Marco Polo instead, and that may be the best short-term approach. In the long run, we need to rethink this control entirely, likely with smart defaults that use radio buttons or Marco Polo depending on how many choices there are. It isn't obvious that drop-down is ever the best option, although we would ideally provide it as a secondary option alongside the Marco Polo for cases where you don't know what you're looking for.
