Calculated Name doesn't display results of _showLink when viewing the Thing's page

Summary: I have a Calculated Name of [[Visible Game Items -> Qualify Game Items By Type]] - [[_showLink(Update Summary)]]. When I view the Thing's page, the Name at top shows everything up through the -, but not the Update Summary. If I unwrap Update Summary from _showLink, it displays correctly.
To clarify - I don't actually want a hyperlink in the Calculated Name, but I do want the text contents to display rather than vanishing altogether.
