Adding a Property of Link Type through the Actions menu doesn't let you specify a Link Model
Summary: When I am editing a Thing, add a Property, and Create a new Property of Link Type, I get the option to set an optional Link Model. So far, so good.
If, on the other hand, I go to the Actions menu, choose, Add a Property, and define the new property as a Link Type, I get no option to give it a Link Model.
Justin: blink. I had totally forgotten that menu pick was there -- I haven't used it in months.
Hmm. I'm going to have to chew on whether to update the Add a Property page, or remove it entirely. You're correct that it is woefully behind the times, and at least needs a thorough overhaul. I may well remove it for the short term, and later re-add it in new form. Or I might just mark it "for advanced use only" for now, or something like that.
For the short term, the workaround is to do the Link Model manually. This page is, ultimately, just the same Editor that you use for Things, and Link Model is simply a meta-Property that you apply to Properties. So when you are creating or editing a Property on the Add a Property page, you can add the Link Model Property to it by hand. (The Create a Property UI inside the Editor is just a gloss over this, customized for the common use cases.)
